Knowledge is POWER

Medical evidence supports early identification of lymphedema through a prospective surveillance model.

This means monitoring common side effects, like swelling, on a regular basis, especially throughout the first few years following cancer diagnosis.

However, this model of care is not yet widely implemented.

This is why we are offering the Lymphedema Smart Workshop; to bridge this gap and empower people affected by cancer to take immediate action to reduce their risk, self-monitor, and seek assistance if lymphedema concerns arise.

Knowledge is power.
